Hello all,

apologies for recent spamming of this comm. Just trying to change to moderated posting only.

On a happier note, who's been following part 2 of this year's Time Team? I particularly enjoyed last Sunday's episode - classic TT riddles and bickering...! :)

The 2010 series of Time Team begins next Sunday, 18 April, 5:30pm - 6:30pm on Channel 4 - it is definite this time! :D

'Tony Robinson presents the archaeological series. A trip to one of Britain's greatest historic landmarks; Westminster Abbey. Surrounded by the sights and sounds of Parliament Square, the team has three days to pin down the location of a lost sacristy, a stronghold that was built by Henry III almost 800 years ago and is said to have housed the biggest collection of treasure this side of the Alps.'

Random Time Team Moment

Driving to work this morning (in the States), I got stuck at a traffic light just a block from work. Across from me in a two piece yellow slicker suit was a short man holding a GSP pole with the pie plate on top. For a moment I was uncontrollably happy thinking that Henry was surveying for the team. Then I remembered I live in the States and the round about down the road is being turned into an over/under pass. But for one brief moment I thought I was going to be able to skip work and stand in the rain watching a dig.

I think the TT withdrawal is complete and my Easter Holiday will have to include a TT marathon. We NEED new ones!!!

Apparently, Channel 4 are planning to show the 2010 series in two parts, with the first 7 episodes running from Sunday 14th March and the final six eps to be screened in the autumn.

If you're based around Durham/Cumbria and have some free time in April, this may be for you.

Happy New Year everyone!

There's a rumour going around online that the new series will not be screened until MARCH 2010....

TT usually starts in January, but I haven't seen it listed in the Channel 4 scheduling so far. :(
